This role is based at our office and warehouse in Porth, RCT

 Job Purpose & Responsibilities:

To deliver any of Greenstream Flooring’s employability projects and to help source and develop further projects.  As a priority delivery of INCLUDE Active Inclusion Project across Rhondda Cynon Taff, in line with project targets and outcomes. This includes:

 

1.        

Planning, preparing, delivering, and evaluating a programme of learning, in line with the awarding bodies requirements, for project participants designed to increase their confidence and self-esteem.

2.        

Ensuring that employability/ volunteer/placement  projects are on track, compliant with funding body requirements, and providing the best possible outcomes for the participant and Greenstream Flooring.

3.        

Working in partnership with further learning organisations to deliver free training. Facilitating access to further learning and other opportunities for participants.

4.        

Working  with our existing marketing  resource and other external stakeholders to positively publicise and promote our training programmes at every opportunity and to seek avenues to increase knowledge within the wider community.

5.        

Actively supporting  participants and creating an experience that is right for each individual and their circumstances. Encourage participants to engage with appropriate activities, training or volunteering opportunities.

6.        

Advocating the benefits of life-long learning, encouraging participants to promote their ‘Learning Journey’ through the use of case studies.

7.        

Maintain existing and develop new robust referral pathways into Projects through engagement with other local organisations. Help to overcome participant barriers, seeking support from relevant agencies and referring where appropriate.

8.        

Maintain up-to-date required administration levels required for projects, supporting the Financial Director’s procedures and taking appropriate action in line with the requirements, as necessary.

9.        

Keeping clear and transferable feedback, monitoring and evaluation records - to ensure that we are  are meeting the needs of the learners and taking account of the learners’ voice. Creating bespoke work plans for individuals.

10.    

Undertake any other duties that may be relevant to the post, or as directed by the Managing Director and Financial Director to support the overall direction of Greenstream Flooring.

Effective verbal and written communication skills enabling positive interactions with a variety of people at all levels and from all backgrounds

 

Flexible and adaptable approach, able to deal effectively with competing priorities

 

Knowledge of adult learning, including how they learn and how to support individuals to achieve

 

Knowledge and experience of assessment, target setting and verification

 

Knowledge, understanding and experience of working on an European funded project and of developing new projects

 

Full driving licence and use of an appropriate vehicle for work purposes

 

 

Committed to promoting the Welsh language

 

Flexible and adaptable approach to work and ability to work on own initiative

 

Excellent time and administration  skills, able to work under pressure and meet deadlines

 

Excellent team working skills, able to work across several teams and deliver required outputs

 

Experience of delivering courses to individuals

 

Experience of working with disadvantaged people

 

Experience of liaising with other specialist and non-specialist agencies to achieve positive outcomes

 

Ability to produce high quality written reports and notes

 

NVQ Level 3 or equivalent professional qualification

 

Relevant qualification / experience or both in teaching or training

 

Knowledge of the Lifelong Learning sector in Wales

 

Knowledge of awarding bodies and accreditation
